The project "Creeps in the Deeps" started back in 2014 when a small team of Don't Starve players decided to put their effort together to create a mod, as close as possible as a DLC, that would give you the opportunity to go further in the game. In other words, keeping the fun whilst exploring an amazing and innovative reality: The Underwater World.
Not long after our first vanilla version went public, we were overwhelmed by the positive feedback we've received and thanks to that, even after ShipWreck (SW) came out, we still worked to make the mod better and compatible with the new DLCs.
Eventually, thanks to the work of some past and current members, we were able to make "Creeps in the Deeps", or was we call it "CitD", available and compatible also for players enjoying the perks of a multiplayer platform.
Currently, the mod is meant to be something new and revolutionary for the world of Don't starve. It doesn't just add plenty of new content to the current game (be it DS or DST) but it includes a completely different yet new world for you to explore.
New structures, new flora & fauna, new mechanics, new items and many others discoverable features, are just the tip of the iceberg in this all-in sea-mod which will see you fighting for survival in the underwater.

When will it be finished?
At the moment the mod is finished. That said, there are currently three versions of the mod: Base Version (DS), Multiplayer Version with Tropical Experience required (DST) and without Tropical Experience required (DST).
What are your plans for the future?
As mentioned in our discord (link at the bottom), ideally we would like to have two final versions of the mod. One completely dedicated to the Vanilla version of the game so completely DS-related; on the other hand, we would also like to have a single version for the DST players, a version which does not require any other mods to work.
What if I want to watch the mod progress?
At the moment, we have a small team working on the mod development but if we are avid discord users so if you want to check any news on the mod, you can check out our discord group!
Where can I get it?
Currently, both DS and DST versions are available on Steam, nevertheless remember that the DS version might not be compatible with the current game:
